Zendaya Trained for Three Months to Play Tennis

Zendaya has excelled in singing and acting, but it appears she will soon dazzle us with her tennis abilities as well.

For her part from tennis player-turned-coach in Luca Guadagnino's upcoming film Challengers, the Euphoria star trained for months.

The film, which Guadagnino referred to as a sexy comedy, focuses on Zendaya's character:

She coaches her player-husband West Side Story actor Mike Faust in preparation for his big game against him.

Her ex and her childhood best friend, who is played by Josh O'Connor in The Crown, develop into a love triangle.

In June, the project ended. Former competitive tennis player Brad Gilbert is a consultant to the film.

Whether Guadagnino will ask Zendaya to record a song for the soundtrack is unknown at this time.
